11 months

 I know that I've been slacking lately with Blog updates but here's some pictures from the summer. I can't believe that in 2 weeks you're going to be ONE YEAR OLD! We're going to have a small family/friends get together of  "Beau eat's cake for the first time!"
You don't even look like a baby anymore! You're a true toddler now! Especially since you're WALKING!

Daddy was so excited that he got a bicycle seat for you! You love it! (except you hate putting the helmet on!)

Father's Day

T-E-N

I can't believe that in two months we will be celebrating ONE WHOLE YEAR of you!! These past ten months have flown by! And what a crazy month this past one has been!

You're almost walking, mommy is busy with school and her new business, daddy has been busy with work too, you've gotten some new teeth, you eat new food, summer is finally here!

You have started standing and holding yourself up...A LOT! You looovvve to stand up at the coffee table and knock everything off of it! You are curious and interested in everything! And of course, you immediately put everything in your mouth so I have to keep the floor clean most the time (eek! Need to be better about that!) You'll take a step forward and then plop back onto your booty...ALMOST WALKING AH SCARY! 

You have tried tons of new foods this month and it has been so much fun cooking for you and watching you discover new tastes. Some of your favorites are: 

broccoli

pasta

tomatoes

peas

cantaloupe

and spaghetti!

We finally got up the courage to leave you for a WHOLE weekend!! We enjoyed it with our friends but we were ready to get back to you! You stayed with Grandma Jo Jo and Pop!

You love to chew on corn on the cob! (Yes, that is a girlie high chair, you can blame your Grandma JoJo for that one!)

Sick

 You got sick for the first time! :(

It was awful holding you with your entire body extremely hot and sad little tears running down your face and I couldn't do anything to take that pain away. I so badly wanted to just take a magic wand and take it all away from you. After almost 48 hours of a high fever, I finally called the doctor. I felt like such a bad mom for waiting for so long but I didn't want to be one of those moms that freaks out and takes her kid to the doctor way too quickly! (there are a lot of moms that do that... "oh you have a runny nose?! doctor!") Your fever kept going away and coming back so I kept thinking you were getting better. 

I will say, I highly enjoyed all the cuddle time we had together. You are a baby that is always on the go and for the first time since you were itty bitty, you just laid in my arms and cuddled with me all day long. (Another sure sign that you're sick!) I got to rock you to sleep again each night...ah I loved it. (except the sick part)

When I took you to the doctor they couldn't find any other symptoms other than the fever (which was only at 98.7 when we were there!) so they decided to run some blood work. They found that your white blood cell count was very high so they put you on some antibiotics. The doctor told me that you had a bacterial infection that had we not caught it in time, it could've turned into pneumonia or meningitis! I'm so glad I brought you in! You started taking the antibiotic and the next day you were feeling sooo much better!! I hated you being sick and I never want you to get sick again...you understand?! :)

Mama

Why won't you say "mama"?!?! You refuse to say it! It's like you know that I want you to say it so badly! Every time I say "say Mama!" you just start laughing at me! You little stinker! You're lovin' saying "dada" all the time!! I was hoping you'd say "mama" on mother's day but you didn't. It's ok, I know you love me and I don't need to hear you say my name for me to know that! I'm sure once you start saying it, you won't be able to stop! YOU"RE SO CUTE!

9!?

Oh where did the time go!? 9 months!! You have grown sooo much!

You crawl ALL OVER THE PLACE and you pull yourself up to a standing position all the time. Every time I go into your room to get you from your nap, you greet me standing up in your crib smiling!
Lately you've been attacked with the giggles! You'll be just sitting while we're driving and you'll start cracking up for no apparent reason! One time we drove all the way to Conroe just laughing together. It was so much fun!

I am anxious/worried for when you start walking because I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with you...I'm having trouble keeping up with you crawling as it is!!

We love playin around on the floor with a big blanket, some good books, and your favorite toys! Without a doubt this makes you tired and you're sure to have a good nap after! hehe ;)
