I was huge...I mean HUGE
I had gained about 48 lbs....I swore I would only gain 25 :/ (the pancakes were too good!)
I was 39 weeks pregnant when my doctor asked how I was feeling (at my weekly appointment) and I simply asked if we could go ahead and take this baby out because I was so darn uncomfortable.
Doctor's Response: "Sure, can you come to the hospital tonight??"
In disbelief I called Joseph and he rushed home from work. We didn't have to do much to prepare bc I had already packed a bag. So all that was left was to sit around and freak out.
We got to the hospital at 10pm
Got a room around 11:30--when my doctor told me that guess what, I was actually already in labor....maybe it was the freak out I did at home!
The doctor broke my water at midnight
I got an epidural around 2am
I had shakes and was extremely nauseous throughout the night...I would sleep for about 30 minutes when the nurse would come in to check our vitals.
At 9am I was told it was time to push.
I don't like pushing.
9:45am I'm told that we can take a break because it doesn't look like it's happening as fast as it should
10:30am Time to try pushing again
12:07pm Beau came into the world....tears, tears, tears!!!!
