Easter

Unfortunately, your first Easter didn't go as expected. Mommy and Daddy both got sick from some sort of stomach virus and ended up in bed all day. Grandma and Grandpa came and picked you up so you could enjoy the holiday with family and stay away from our yuckiness so you wouldn't get sick too.

But before Grandpa came to get you, I snapped a few pictures in your easter outfit. I didn't have as much patience to get the "perfect" picture but I did get one good one that I love! We hope you had a good first Easter, as I'm sure you did. We were so sad to have missed it with you and had a hard time spending time away from you! Next year will be better! You'll be hunting eggs!

You're the first great grandson and I was so happy to meet you! You greeted me with a big smile and I immediately fell in love with you! As time went on, the smile became a hearty laugh. You affected everyone around you with your laughter!

What a Weekend!

Hey Handsome,
You just had quite the eventful weekend! Nonny came into town and decided it was time for you to try spaghetti! So you did..at first you made a funny face but then you just kept trying to pick it up and eat it. It went everywhere! I made some banana bread and decided you could try that too..you love it!

But more importantly, You FINALLY got your two bottom teeth in!! It's been a rough, and painful few weeks waiting for those teeth. You haven't slept well..you didn't want to eat as much..you poor thing just never feeling good. But they're here and you're all smiles now!

Also this weekend, as much as it pains me to say, you said your first word, "Da Da"! You little stink..favoring your dad already!! It may have just been some blabbering except you reached out for him at the same time! So I think you meant it! Oh no, it's already starting, my two men working against me! :(

We also went to JoJo and Pops house for some fun in the sun! We bought you a cute hat to cover that head of yours and a fun turtle (hmm, wonder why I bought the turtle one) baby float. You LOVED the water! You just relaxed and enjoyed Daddy floating you around! All Smiles!

Lastly, this past Sunday you decided to go from a somewhat crawl to the full-on move across the room crawl!!! I already knew I was in trouble with how active you are, but now I'm really getting nervous! You're all over the place!

It was another wonderful weekend, closing in your 7th month. Tomorrow is your 8 month birthday! I can NOT believe it! Love you!
