I started this blog to document my baby's first year and now we've become a family of 6! Life is busy and I like it that way! I'm not expecting many followers but want to do this to continue documenting our life and be able to look back at all our happy (and not so happy) memories. I recently closed my photography business so I am excited to have a place to share pictures with my fancy cam! :)

Bathtime
Beau,
When I was pregnant, I could not WAIT to do bathtime with you! We got tons of cute little towels with animal heads on them for you and we still have not had to buy any bath soap or shampoo because our friends and family stocked us up well! I looovvve the smell of the soap and lotion that we use to help make you sleepy and all ready for bed.
What's funny is, bathtime isn't my favorite like I thought it would be. You are so heavy to lift in and out of that tub that I don't find as much joy in it as I thought I would (my back hurts!)...but you're so darn cute every time you get a bath! Which makes me love watching you!
You just started sitting up and we put the infant bath away. So you're taking big-boy baths now! And you LOVE all the toys and splashing the water. Lola always comes and hangs out with us in the bathroom while you're taking a bath..she loves to watch.

Dear Baby Beau,
When i found out that your Mommy and Daddy were pregnant, I was absolutely thrilled. I just knew they were going to be wonderful parents. And I couldn't wait to have a little baby nephew. (I knew you were going to be a boy, and hey, I was right!)
When your Mom went into labor, I went to St. David's and waited for hours and hours. I waited all through the night with your parents and aunts and uncles. Your Grandma was there too, and we got hungry waiting for you all night! So at 1am, your Grandma and I went to Magnolia Cafe to get food, and talk about how much we couldn't wait to see you. In the morning, your Grandpa got there just in time! He took a few emergency flights from Vancouver just to see you arrive. We were all so excited that you were coming.
Your Great-Grandma Jean Stuckey used to always tell us, "You are soooo good-lookin'." From the first time I saw you I just knew you had to be a Stuckey boy, because you were the most good-looking' baby i had ever seen! You sure did look an awful lot like your Daddy when you were born. And now that you're older, you remind me quite a bit of your good-looking' Mamma too.
For the first 3 weeks of your life, you lived in Austin. That's where I live, so I would come see you every time I could. I loved spending time with such a sweet and precious baby like you, and it warmed my heart to see your Mom and Dad growing into such loving parents.
I helped your Mom & Dad move the day they left Austin for Spring. We all sat on the floor of their empty Manchaca house, and said goodbye (with a few tears!) to the place where we had all had so much fun.
But moving was a happy event too! Now, you get to be close to all your grandparents, and live in the place that we all know as home. It is so important to have family around you. And Beau, you've got a huge, loving family that just adores you!
I love you dearly, little man, and I'm so happy to see what the future has for you.

Problem...
I have a major problem: I can't stop taking pictures of you and I'm unable to decide which are the cutest! I love all your faces! I took these today and can't decide which one's the cutest. (Even though they're almost all the same!)
Eating
I introduced you to baby food when you were about 4 months old.
You LOVE to eat! -I think your rolls make that obvious ;)
You're just the cutest little chunk!
You don't like fruit, you prefer veggies...good boy!
Although you love to eat, and you've been eating for a little over 2 months now, you still go through the same series of faces EVERY time!!
And then you scarf down the whole jar! You're so funny!

You absolutely love Lola and spending time with her on the floor. You have come to just love watching her and you just crack up when she's doing absolutely nothing! You love to pet her and (sometimes try to bite her ear) hold on to her fur! We want your first word to be Lola, however we know that's not a huge possibility! You also laugh at her all the time when Daddy throws the ball for her and she catches it! Lola always puts a smile on your face!

6 Months
Dear Beau,
I can't BELIEVE you're already 6 months old!! You're half a year! And you couldn't be any cuter! You're sitting up on your own and rollin around like a rollie pollie! Happy 6 Months Handsome!
